Who we are
Amanda is the Founder and Principle at Cultivate, a Coaching and People Development practice.
She brings with her over 18 years experience in corporate Human Resources, in a career that has spanned the Retail, Chartered Surveying and Financial Services industries in both Southern Africa and the UK. Having held various senior HR Business Partner, Learning and Development, Leadership and Executive Development positions in large Blue Chip organisations, she most recently headed up the Leadership and Executive Development function for the EMEA region at Citi.
Her career has been characterised by supporting managers during transition and she has extensive experience of facilitating leadership development interventions across all levels. She is an experienced and qualified Executive Coach and serves as mentor on the New Ventures West coach training programme run worldwide.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Cape Town and has successfully completed the New Ventures West year long Professional Coaching Course (ICF Accredited).
She has worked for organisations including: Citi, ABN AMRO, Jones Lang Lasalle, Woolworths South Africa Pty Ltd and Edcon South Africa. Amanda has also had experience working for an internet start up.
Amanda lives in London with her husband and two young sons.
